Even if you aren’t a wee bit Irish, you can still have fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with the kids. There is a lot to enjoy about the green infused holiday, from the shamrocks, leprechauns, and pots of gold at the end of the rainbow to the more adult themed fun of pub crawls and sips of Guinness.
We live in a college town that is so enticed by the St. Paddy’s Day holiday and all it has to offer, that they host their festivities, otherwise know as “Unofficial,” the weekend before the 17th of March. Not sure why I’m surprised when we live just two hours south of Chicago where they dye their river neon green every St. Patrick’s Day.
While scouring the Internet I’ve found a few fun holiday inspired crafts to get you in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit. You don’t even need to wear green to participate in the fun, because fun fact for ya… the color of Saint Patrick was BLUE, not green. *mind blown*
